Since 1803, we’ve been a gathering place. With that legacy comes a whole host of stories that shape the Golden Lamb. As we share tales of our past, we also want to take you behind the scenes and share inspirations from the legends of our present!

Welcome to summer at the Golden Lamb! As the season unfolds, we're thrilled to invite you to experience the vibrancy and beauty of our region. With lush greenery, blooming flowers, and scenic parks at their peak, it’s a wonderful time to enjoy all we have to offer.

Summer

Inspired by the agricultural heartland we call home, we proudly source ingredients locally, including from the Golden Lamb farm. Located in nearby Oregonia, Ohio, our 350-acre farm hosts rows of vegetables, herbs and melons; a field of popcorn; several head of cattle; a berry patch and even multiple beehives. You’ll find these ingredients worked into all of our menus and many retail items.

Our farm-to-table philosophy extends beyond ingredients—it’s a commitment to sustainability and community.  When you dine with us, you're not just enjoying a meal; you're supporting local farmers and experiencing a taste of Southwestern Ohio's rich agricultural heritage.

If you’re still craving those farm-fresh flavors after a meal at the Golden Lamb, we’re in close proximity to the Lebanon Farmers Market (4 pm to 7 pm every Thursday mid-May through mid-October). Here, you’ll find a variety of locally grown or produced vegetables, fruit, baked goods, jams, meat, eggs, body care, flowers, and other artisan items from high-quality vendors.

A true history buff’s dream, Southwestern Ohio is home to North America's largest ancient hilltop enclosure, built 2,000 years ago. Fort Ancient Earthworks and Nature Preserve offers miles of trails, earthen embankments, and intriguing astronomical connections. Just a short drive from us, it's a must-see destination for history enthusiasts seeking to satisfy their curiosity.

Biking is another great way to see and explore the natural beauty of Southwest Ohio. The area is rich in bike trails that connect Cincinnati and Dayton and surrounding areas. Visit the Ohio Bikeways Brochure to plan your adventure, starting and ending right here at the Golden Lamb. Yes, we have bike parking available!
