2023 Holiday Happenings
The holidays are a truly magical time at the Golden Lamb.
When you visit the streets of historic downtown Lebanon and walk through the doors of our legendary inn, you'll escape to a time when all that matters is gathering with family and friends to enjoy excellent service, food, and drink in an atmosphere found nowhere else.
We have special plans throughout the holidays, so your season is the most memorable yet!
As we enter the holiday season, we're bringing back dishes from some of the most iconic Christmas celebrations in our country's history. Choose from three historically-inspired entrées on our traditional holiday features menu:
Frohe Weihnachten - seared venison, ancient grains, braised red cabbage, peppercorn & brandy cream sauce
Christmas Dinner at Mount Vernon - a duo of local pork loin and roasted turkey breast, mashed Idaho potatoes, apple & sage sausage stuffing, orange-cranberry sauce, seasonal vegetables, two-day turkey gravy
A Tribute to Cratchit’s Christmas Dinner - roasted Indiana duck breast, ancient grains, rosemary jus, braised red cabbage
You'll also find several soups, desserts and holiday cocktails sure to leave you feeling warm and fuzzy during the colder December days.
Surprise! Santa is coming to the Golden Lamb. Make your reservations! We're making our lists and checking them twice!
Here we come a-wassailing
Right to the Golden Lamb!
There's always something special about dining surrounded with the chorus of your favorite holiday songs. Returning for the first time since 2019, local carolers dressed in period clothing will be in-restaurant to fill guests with Christmas cheer over a terrific holiday meal.
Celebrate 220 years of the Golden Lamb!
The Harmon Museum, located across the street from us at 105 S. Broadway, Lebanon OH 45036, is hosting an art exhibit featuring works from a juried art exhibit! Don't miss the works on display, now through January 6th.
Just before you tuck in with hopes that St. Nicholas will soon be here, join us for a special Christmas Eve menu that's full of tradition. Soak in the festive decor you can only find during this most wonderful time of year and take a calm walk through our charming downtown to reach pure Christmas bliss.

The restaurant will be open from 12-9 p.m. Join us to share in a delicious meal and celebrate the end of 2022. Then, after the restaurant closes, join us in the Black Horse Tavern for light hors d'oeuvres and live music with G. Burton, followed by a champagne toast at midnight!
We will be closed on New Year's Day, as well as January 2nd and 3rd, as we prepare for an exciting 2023 at the Golden Lamb.
